Mood swings. Weight gain. Irregular cycles.
It might be PCOS — or it might be perimenopause.

They can look very similar on the outside,
but they are not the same condition — and treating the wrong one can delay healing for years.

PCOS often begins in the 20s–30s and is driven by:
• insulin resistance
• irregular ovulation
• higher androgens like testosterone

Perimenopause usually begins in the 40s and is a transition where:
• ovulation becomes irregular
• progesterone drops first — long before estrogen does

Both can cause:
• weight gain
• irregular periods
• mood swings
• acne
• facial hair growth
• thinning hair

But the support is different.

PCOS often needs metabolic support.
Perimenopause often needs adrenal and progesterone support.

That’s why understanding your hormones matters before treating them.

This is exactly what I teach inside my Hormone Clarity Course.
